After Hair Transplant 

We will explain you here what to expect after a hair transplant surgery. As you guess a patient can not have full of hairs right after surgery. All patients with hair loss dream about full of hairs. But you need to be patient for some months to see full results. You need to be watchful for at least one year.

First week after hair transplant,

First hours after hair transplant, you will go back to your hotel after operation. You will have a head bandage covered your donor area. And you should not make too much efforts so stay calm and don't do anything on first night. It is very important to stay hydrated so drink too much water.
Drinking alcohol is not recommended. 

You need to take some rest first night. You need to stand upright position. Because if you put your head down anesthesia fluid may leak down to your face and cause swelling. You may feel a slight headache but that's normal. If it is too much you can take recommended painkillers.

From the next day after operation generally you do not feel any pain. You will come to hospital and your doctor will make your first wash and explain how to do it. You might have a small inflammation but that's because of the anesthesia. Swelling is normal, it will be shrink in 2-3 days. You will have a head band if the doctor deems appropriate to protect from inflammation.

Hair wash after operation.
1- 1. You need to apply panthenol sprey lotion and wait for 30-40 min.

2-Rinse the lotion with warm water.

3-Take some shampoo to your hand and make foam with both hands then apply by tapping on it without rubbing.

4- Rinse it with warm water.

3rd day after operation , 

You can go back to work third day after operation. You may feel slight discomfort or itchiness on donor area. And can use a see water or saline solution also some painkillers to help. Your hairs will  have some crusts and that's normal for 10 days. They are skin particles and when washing do not try to clean them. if you feel lack of sensitivity on operation area, this feeling is normal and will be some more days. You should wash your hairs for yourself as explained and with a given shampoo. Everyday you will continue washing hairs and scabs will clean day by day.

10th day after operation.

You need to send your photos to your doctor 10th day after operation for control. And he/she will recommend you to start washing by massage to clean the crusts.
 
10th day hair wash after hair transplant
1. You need to apply panthenol sprey lotion and wait for 20-30 min.
2-Rinse the lotion with warm water.
3-Take some shampoo to your hand and massage your head 5-10 min. without using your nails.
4- Rinse it with warm water.

You will see that you clean most of the scabs. Also you can see  some hairs are falling. This normal they are generally not causing any problem. In case sending photos to your doctor is a good idea.

By the day 12 you need to clean all crusts and scalp should be clean.

1 month after hair transplant

After 1 month you may see a intensive hair loss of implanted hairs which is called shock loss. This situation is temporary and you will have your hairs back after months. Also be careful even after 1 month some skin types form small skin scabs. They are like dandruff so continue washing with massage without nails.

2-4 months after hair transplant 

You will lose most of implanted hairs. You need to continue washing with massage and be patient about the process.

4-6 months after hair transplant
In the end you can see some new growth of hairs. But some of them will be long and others short. But it will be different then before hair transplant. The scene lacks density but still early to decide about results.

6-12 months after hair transplant 
By the 6th-7th month you can see 40-50% of your hairs. Implanted hairs continue growing and they get stronger.

12-18 Months after hair transplant 
You will see the final results of you hair transplant between 12-18 months. They will be stronger then before now. Choosing a center with experience good quality of professionals and lastest technology will change the results
